Doug worked closely with us, and he designed and implemented our website from scratch. It is a well organized site that includes on-line registration for events, interactive listings, and it empowers us by allowing us to do our own daily updates. Our members remark how easy it is to use! He is wonderful to work with, creative, knowledgeable and is always willing to go the extra mile for our benefit. His goal is perfection and we thank him for all he has done for our organization!

Creative Works

Creative Works.  Patricia Rosenbauer is an artist in Manchester, VT that needed a simple website. As is common with many small business owners, word of mouth referrals are what have been keeping her business going over the years.  These challenging economic times coupled with online marketing mania, however, have caused her to reevaluate how she presents her painting and products to the world.

This website was designed to meet several goals: to showcase Patricia’s artwork, to provide an easy to use ecommerce interface by which to sell her personalized eCards, and to encapsulate her style and painting mediums with imagery.  By using the Joomla Content Management System, she has the capacity to keep her site fresh and can easily add new images of her work, upload new cards to her shopping cart and update events that are taking place where she can been found in person.

Pioneer Valley Aquarium Society

Pioneer Valley Aquarium Society, Inc. is an active regional club focused on all aspects of aquatic life. The purpose of this site is to provide avid fish lovers a listing of upcoming meetings, access to the monthly newsletter and to communicate what this club is all about to those who are unfamiliar. When they approached Concept Web Design about their website, they wanted to be able to easily update the site with news and events and didn’t want to have to wait on their developer.

This site also allows PVAS a way to recognize their valuable sponsors and to seek new ones. It is designed to be somewhat interactive for members and a fun, colorful place to visit.

Bennington Area Habitat for Humanity

Bennington Area Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that coordinates local volunteers to build homes for those in need. This Bennington Affiliate needed a site redesign and structure when they contacted Concept Web Design.

This site includes a great deal of information, serves to inform the public about the next build opportunity, high lights sponsors, and provides contact and donation information for people and companies that want to get involved locally and nationally. It is clean, well organized and has a clear call to action throughout for visitors.

Neighbor to Neighbor

The Neighbor to Neighbor Interfaith Community Program is a small non-profit organization in Manchester, VT. dedicated to helping the elderly, disabled and housebound individuals to get out and enjoy the company and companionship of others. Their role is to organize neighboring volunteers that will help accompany these individuals.

The main focus of this site is to inform the greater community about the services that the Neighbor to Neighbor program is providing. In addition, they are seeking more volunteers and donors to keep this program viable. Although they are not in much need to make changes and updates to this site regularly, because it is developed in Joomla, they do have that option.

Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies

Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies has an annual convention and needs to have a site that can change as the years roll on. Concept Web Design is on its 3rd year of  supporting this site. This robust site is full of functionality and information for visitors who want to attend this convention each year.

With the ability to register for the event, make online donations and to participate in forums and photo contests, visitors become part of the community building process. Because this site changes from year to year, the articles and information is archived on the back end so that the managers have access to the historical information and forms so they don’t have to start from scratch each time.
